This year’s “36 Days of Type” project is evolving into an idea for a color font. Inspired by a feeling of despondence and the ways in which we often hold ourselves in uncomfortable positions, the nice thing about this set of letters is that whenever I was tired of drawing them I could channel that feeling right into the character. Now when I make a disappointing, uncomfortable or negative word with them it really captures the spirit of it!
Here’s a ridiculous idea that I would like to turn into a color font. I drew these for the 36 days of type Instagram challenge one year.
