Character Design Exploration

In these illustrations, I was experimenting with diversity of age, size, ethnicity and working from prompts; strong, expressive, joyful, happy. I took inspiration from observing people in and around SF and from a love of ink drawing. The dip pen drawings are below, and on the left, I digitally enhanced and colored them using Procreate.
